Life Update - Why was I gone

Hello

Yes, I am still here!
It has been a bit over a week since I was active here on the blog or any of my social media.
Today I am feeling better so I thought, let me give everyone a little life update and say hi!
Last week, was a rough one; out of the blue I just got pretty ill and had to be rushed to the hospital. Nothing life-threatening but still very painful.
Apparently, something was wrong with my right kidney and I had all the symptoms of a kidney stone... Let me tell you, one thing: that f*cking hurts!!!
Oh man, seriously, I never felt any pain like that.

After some struggling with Dutch healthcare system, I was finally allowed (yes, you read it correctly) to come to the hospital to be checked by a doctor.
I won't get into too many details about it because it's a mix of stupidity and yet, what they think, efficiency. Lesson learned!

At this point, I don't know why I have it or how many neither how big. I am visiting a doctor soon to get more info and see what it can be done. You think you're doing your best to stay healthy and all that crap, and out of the blue, you're confronted with this...

Anyway, it was pretty scary (I said painful already, didn't I?) and therefore, I took my time to recover as I could hardly do anything besides laying down, sleep and take pills. Sounds so interesting, right?!...
Therefore, I didn't post anything last week and missed another week of the photo challenge, but hey; health first!

With this saying, tomorrow (Tuesday) there will be a new post and I hope to resume my normal schedule of two posts a week.
For today, I just wanted to say "hi!" and give a little update.

Are you all getting ready for Christmas, in case you celebrate it?
Over here, we are almost ready!!!
Can't believe that 2017 is really coming to an end...

See you tomorrow!
