Easy questions, difficult answers

Moving to a different country as shown me how much I love my own country. A nice eye-opener, if you ask me.
I find myself thinking more and more about the good things about Porty-land than the not so good. Some may say that I just miss home, but where's home anyway?

It got to the point that I don't know what to answer when people ask "Where are you from?"
What do they actually mean?
Where was I born or where do I live?
It seems easy to answer but it actually isn't. I end up explaining the whole story, which is totally fine, but the truth is that sometimes it feels like I'm from nowhere...
Weird feeling...

It gets even more interesting, when you just realize you don't want move out of the town that welcomed you once you left your homeland...
Has this town became my hometown? If so, should I answer "I come from M-town"? Will that mean that this is "where I come from"??
Tricky...

When abroad, if you're asked where are you form, you will reply "I'm from X", where X is the country where you were born. Makes sense, but if I do that, people will automatically think that I'm on holiday, over here, which is totally not true...
I get to be on holiday when I go back to Porty-land.

I know what I am, and which nationally I have, but if I keep on explaining the whole 9 yards every time some asks me such an easy question, will I ever belong to this country where I live now?...

Where are you from?!

Beauty | Nude is cool

Once upon a time, I could let my nails grow, almost endlessly, but not anymore.
At the moment, all my nails just broke; it feels like, once they reach a nice mid-length, something happens and within one day, boom! All broken...

When this happens, I tend to get a nice soft nude nail polish, just to keep them nicely shinny but without any crazy color.
Essie - Sand Tropez (w/o flash)
Lately, I have been gravitating towards this one by Essie #79 Sand Tropez.
This one I got at DM, a German drugstore, for 7,95Eur.

Freshly painted; w/o flash
I simply love it!!! It's a 2-coat polish with shine finish. No sparkles or shimmer; nice and creamy.
Left: NO flash
Right: With flash
L-to-R: Essie Sand Tropez,
Essie Help me grow base coat
Seche Vite top coat
Totally recommend it if you like a nice nude nail polish or just like me, are trying to grow your nails and don't wanna keep them naked. ;-)

Enjoy your day!

P.S.: I will try to write more frequently...

Thoughts

There's always a moment in time, when you just stop and ask yourself:

"Is this a too big of a step for myself?!"

It seems that I'm at that very point now...

Warming up!

Not really sure if tonight we will have the same, as the audience in the Netherlands tend to act slightly different, but I'm sure it will be a great party!

Good music on a Friday evening, that's the best way to kick-off the weekend!

Have a nice weekend!!!

Normal??

(if you're not a Portuguese speaker, please use Translation tool on side bar)

"Oh, that happens every day.... It's normal...." *soft smile on her face*
