11-November it’s a day we, Porties, celebrate since a very young age. It’s the Saint Martin’s day, or in Portuguese, Dia de São Martinho.
Our tradition says that we should eat chestnuts and drink a sort of wine, called Àgua-pé. Here you can read more.

I was always a big fan of this tradition as I simply love chestnuts, but unfortunately, this will be another year that I won’t celebrate it… no chestnuts… and the ones available are extremely expensive…
